Meet Our StaffPROVIDERSLayne Kamalu, M.D. Dr. Kamalu served seven years active duty as a physician for the United States Air Force and was chief of the family practice department at Hill Air Force Base. Dr. Kamalu also founded a Sports Medicine Clinic at Hill AFB and has volunteered as team physician for Davis High School. From 1998-99, he served as Chairman of the Utah Diabetes Advisory Board. Dr. Kamalu also has five years experience as an emergency physician at Brigham City Hospital and now maintains staff privileges at Lakeview, LDS and Mckay-Dee Hospitals. Areas of interest include integrative, sports and preventive medicine. Kris Williams, FNP-C Kris served an LDS mission to Pusan Korea. She presently teaches at Weber State University in the Baccalaureate Nursing program. She has taught nursing education for over 17 years. Kris has been married for 22 years and resides in Farmington with her husband and six boys. She enjoys watching her boys play soccer and baseball, going four wheeling, reading and traveling. Kris is a strong advocate for health promotion. She enjoys getting to know her patients and is committed to providing each person the highest quality care available. Estheticians:

Dr. Kamalu was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. After spending his childhood and teen years in Hawaii, Arizona and Germany, he served an LDS mission to Munich, Germany and graduated from Brigham Young University in Mechanical Engineering. Dr. Kamalu attended medical school at St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed a residency in Family Practice at Scott Medical Center, Scott AFB in Illinois. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice. 
Kris began her nursing career at the young age of 17. While still in high school, she completed her nursing assistant certificate. She continued her nursing education by graduating from Weber State College, University of Utah, and Brigham Young University. She received her post master’s Family Nurse
Practitioner degree from Indiana State University. Kris is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is also a member of the Utah Nurse Practitioner Association, Phi Kappa Phi and Sigma Theta Tau.
